6th June 2023, Canadian monitoring mission visited Jamtoli outlet
A monitoring mission from Canada, along with representatives from the United Nations World Food Programme (UNWFP), visited the Jamtoli outlet. The Canadian team included Carmel and Sumaira from International Humanitarian Assistance Canada, as well as Farzana from Global Affairs Canada. The UNWFP representatives, Namiko and Mr. Rokibul Alam, Head of GFA (General Food Assistance), accompanied them. During the visit, Mr. Rokibul Alam provided an overview of GFA Operations and guided the visitors to various points, including the check-balance point, retailer shop, and FFC (Food for Cash) point at Jamtoli. WFP's field operation representative, Mr. Zia Ur Rahaman, GFA-Programme representative, Mr. Zia Uddin Salim, RIC-GFA programme Manager, Mr. Mohammad Muniruzzaman, and security force personnel were also present during the visit.
